College Council
The College Council's mission is:
To foster effective communication and create channels of communication throughout the college community.
To serve as an advisory council for the President and staff for advisement, decisions, and/or recommendations on matters of college-wide concern to include but not limited to:
- Strategic Planning
- Budgeting
- Faculty, staff and student recommendations. Any recommendations impacting the whole of the group represented, shall have been presented first to the appropriate representative bodies (i.e., faculty senate, SGA, standing committees and received their recommendation.)
- Review of policies and procedures if said policies and procedures fall within the purview of this Council AND have been passed or/recommended upon by the committees/individuals with primary responsibility for those policies.
