A number of Career Resources are available to you at the Counseling Office. Read through books on Choosing a Major, Resume Writing, Interview Techniques, Job Searching, as well as career resources specific to your field of interests. You will also find the career resource area to have a number of handouts that you can take with you to get you started on writing your first resume or preparing for your next job interview.

General Job Search

Do What You Love, The Money Will Follow is the classic step-by-step guide to finding the “work” that expresses and fulfills your needs, talents, and passions.

Internships lists more that 2000 organizations worldwide which offer paid or unpaid internships. The guide is cross-indexed by field of interest, geographic area, required academic level, and possibility of permanent employment. Some of the organizations listed include The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA; The Antarctica Project; and the Native American Health Education Resource Center. Let your imagination soar!

Looking for a list of fastest-growing jobs for college graduates aged 20-29? It’s here! Civil Service Careers
