Get Help: Reference
Do you need help finding the books, articles, reference tools or electronic resources on specific topics you need to complete your research? Reference services are available on all campuses to help connect you to appropriate library resources that meet your research needs. Librarians are available to assist you with research strategies, and using the libraries electronic resources and technologies.
Faculty members may also speak to a Librarian about scheduling in-class instruction. During this in-class instruction, students will learn about information literacy, available library resources, and how to use these resources. Learn more about each of our different reference services below.
In-Person and Phone Reference
Reference and information help is provided at all GCC Library locations. Stop by or call a circulation desk for help with research. Circulation staff will refer you to an available librarian to help with reference questions.
Do you have an in-depth reference question? Are you unable to make it during the FAC Library's reference hours? Schedule an appointment to meet with a librarian for a reference consultation. It's as easy as sending us an e-mail. A librarian would be happy to meet with you and help you find the resources you need for your research.
Chat reference services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our LRC Live service.
