What is InterCampus Lending?

Items owned by GCC Libraries may be requested to be sent from one campus library to another campus library or site for check out and/or in-library use, as appropriate.  Intercampus lending deliveries are made between FAC, LGC, and DTC libraries Monday through Friday.  Stafford Center deliveries are made on Tuesday's and Thursday's.

How do I request an item through InterCampus Lending?

Use the libraries online catalog (VCCSLinc) to locate items owned by GCC. You may request an intercampus loan by:

  1. Placing a hold on the item in the VCCSLinc catalog. 
  2. Requesting an InterCampus Loan in person at any campus library.
  3. Completing and submitting an electronic InterCampus Loan request.

Requested items will be held for two weeks. If items are not used or checked out within that time, they will be returned to the library that owns the items.
