DISABILITY SERVICES
Disability Services: Description of ServicesServices for students with disabilities are coordinated through the Special Needs Counselor located in the Counseling Center at each campus. Services are provided based on the individual needs of the student. Determination of appropriate accommodations is based on medical assessment and documentation. In addition, other resources including the student's physician, psychologist, instructor and/or the Dean of Instruction may be consulted regarding the appropriateness of accommodations. In order for services to be provided, the student must selfidentify to the Special Needs Counselor on either campus. The student must provide appropriate documentation that indicates the accommodations needed or that provides information adequate to determine appropriate accommodations. Students needing interpreter services should make a request at least three weeks prior to the start of classes in order for the College to attempt to secure a qualified interpreter
