BLACKBOARD LINKS |
| Links to external websites can open in two ways.
|
- The link may open the external website directly within the Blackboard course frame. In this case, you can still see and utilize the tool navigation buttons on the left or the tabs at the top.

- Or the link may open a new browser window for the external website. In some instances, it may seem that the Blackboard screen seems to completely disappear from view. To return to Blackboard when a site opens in this way, you can move, minimize or close the new browser window using the X in the upper right corner of the window. Sometimes you will need a specific program to open the file such as Acrobat Reader for .PDF files. Your instructor should let you know if additional programs will be needed and usually there are free downloadable versions available.
