EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Welcome to Germanna Community College Educational Foundation

The Germanna Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. was established in 1983 to foster and promote the growth, progress and well-being of the College and its students. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds to support the mission of the College. Subject to the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, the Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and is incorporated under Virginia law. Contributions are deductible to the extent permitted by law.

A continuing priority is to ensure that all students, including those with financial need, have an opportunity to receive an education. The Educational Foundation provides supplemental support for the College’s programs and initiatives within the policies of the State Board for Community Colleges and the bylaws of the Germanna Educational Foundation Board of Directors. All fund raising activities are directly related to the purpose of the College.
