Annual events sponsored by the Germanna Educational Foundation raises money every year to help deserving students who need scholarships to complete their educations and to fund capital needs such as new buildings and technology improvements. Thanks to the support and participation of area residents and businesses, these annual events are an enjoyable opportunity for the college to connect with and recognize those who are such an important part of Germanna's success.

Ray Glazebrook Golf Tournament

The Educational Foundation hosts an annual golf tournament to raise funds for scholarships offered through the Germanna Guarantee program which assists students in need who haven't received sufficient aid from other sources to attend college.
Annual Foundation Dinner

The dinner provides an opportunity to recognize and thank donors, friends and other members of the community for their generous support. One highlight of the evening will be testimonials from three Germanna students who have received scholarships. You will be moved by their stories and their passion for learning. SCHOLARSHIP RECEPTION

Student scholarship recipients and their donors are being invited by the Germanna Educational Foundation to attend a Scholarship Reception at Fawn Lake Country Club on Friday, March 16.
The event is an "invitation only" affair that will give student recipients of Foundation scholarships and their donors an opportunity to meet one another.
More than 200 Germanna students are receiving scholarships during the current academic year from the Germanna Community College Educational Foundation totaling over $150,000.
Special guest at the reception will be Ms. Doris Buffett, who is contributing $150,000 to the Educational Foundation to create one of the largest scholarship programs at the college, called the "Sunshine Lady Scholarship."
