(July 2, 2009) Engineering Program Scholarships

Watch for emails coming out for engineering student scholarships. These will be given to enrolled students in Engineering Technology and the new ASE program. If you do not receive notification by July 20th contact Mark Gibson at 540-834-1063 for how to apply. These are significant awards based on need, and GPA.

Engineers Produced in Virginia

This is a cooperative program with the University of Virginia where students can remain in their home area and complete a four year Bachelors degree in Engineering Science. The first two years are completed at the local community college (GCC) and the final two years through UVA. The classes utilize a distributed learning environment where students use tablet laptops and voice over IP technology to study and attend class from any location with a high speed internet connection.
