What is the G.S.S.A?

The Germanna Support Staff Association of LGC & FAC is dedicated to providing support, professional development and a means of communication to the staff members of Germanna Community College. The Germanna Support Staff Association at each campus accomplishes this through regular meetings, lectures, networking opportunities, fellowship activities, special events, scholarships awards and its support of both community and college-related service projects.

Our Purpose

To provide an avenue of communication between administration, faculty and staff;

To encourage positive teamwork and morale among staff employees;

To promote personal and professional networking opportunities among support staff employees;

To provide a forum where members may discuss activities in their work units and make positive recommendations for GSSA representatives to bring forward at college Executive Council meetings;

To engage in community and college-related service projects.
