Flexible Benefits Program :
Employees may complete a Flexible Reimbursement Election Form or use Employee Direct to enroll in a Flexible Reimbursement Account (FRA). The flexible reimbursement account plan year is effective July 1st through June 30th of the following year. Newly hired employees must submit an enrollment application within 31 days of their date of hire to be eligible to participate in the Medical FRA, and their enrollment in the plan will become effective the first of the month following the receipt of the enrollment application. Open Enrollment period for the Flexible Reimbursement Accounts occurs each spring. During this period, eligible employees are allowed to enroll in one or both flexible reimbursement accounts. After the close of the open enrollment period, no changes can be made unless the employee experiences an event that would allow a mid-year change. (SEE: Making Changes Outside of Open Enrollment)
