| CommonHealth | All full-time permanent and part-time permanent employees are eligible to access the programs and services offered under the State's CommonHealth benefit, whether or not they are enrolled in one of the State's health plans. Other programs, like smoking cessation, discount fitness center memberships, health check screenings and other wellness programs are offered through CommonHealth. | Delta Dental | Commonwealth of Virginia members have access to Delta Dental's largest network, Delta Premier, which includes almost 80% of all dentists in Virginia. Dentist who have agreed to participate in the Delta Dental network will file your claims for you, will accept Delta's allowances for services (in addition to any required co-insurance), and will abide by Delta's guidelines for dental treatment. | Extended Coverage (COBRA) | Extended Coverage (COBRA) can become available to you when you would otherwise lose your group health coverage. | Medco Health | All COVA Care health plans provide a drug benefit that divides prescriptions into three categories (tiers) based primarily on the cost of the medication. The first tier is typically generic drugs; the second tier generally includes low cost to medium cost brand name drugs; and the third tier consists of higher-cost brand name drugs. To find out more about covered medications, the tiers in which they fall and co-payments by tier, visit the Medco Health web site. Once you register, you will have access to all your prescription drug coverage, tier and co-payment information. |
