| Delta Dental |
Commonwealth of Virginia members have access to Delta Dental's largest network, Delta Premier, which includes almost 80% of all dentists in Virginia. Dentist who have agreed to participate in the Delta Dental network will file your claims for you, will accept Delta's allowances for services (in addition to any required co-insurance), and will abide by Delta's guidelines for dental treatment. | Medco Health |
All COVA Care health plans provide a drug benefit that divides prescriptions into three categories (tiers) based primarily on the cost of the medication. The first tier is typically generic drugs; the second tier generally includes low cost to medium cost brand name drugs; and the third tier consists of higher-cost brand name drugs. To find out more about covered medications, the tiers in which they fall and co-payments by tier, visit the Medco Health web site. For services such as mental health, alcohol or drug abuse assessment, child or elder care, grief counseling and legal or financial services, confidential assistance can be accessed at no cost by all full-time permanent and part-time permanent employees and their dependents, whether or not they are covered under one of the State's health plans, through ValueOptions.
