  1. Why do I have a new id?

    1. Your emplid is how you will interact with the new PeopleSoft HR system. If you are ever a student, this would be the same number you use for all Student activities, such as registration.
    2. Your HR Employee number is still the same and will still be used by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  2. Why do I have another email address?

    1. The email address shown after looking up your username and emplid is an email address all users are given. If you are an employee your official email address is the one you are currently using that ends in "@germanna.edu".
  3. Do I use my username or my emplid when logging in?

    1. We encourage you to use myGCC to login to HRMS directly, in order to login to myGCC you must use your USERNAME.
    2. If you currently login to AIS, SIS or Blackboard your password is the same
