How to use NetLibrary e-books
NetLibrary is a collection of books in electronic format. You can access NetLibrary 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can find books in NetLibrary in two ways:
- You may search for a book in VCCSLinc, the Germanna online catalog. In VCCSLinc you will find all print titles as well as all e-books owned by GCC. Records for books in NetLibrary will display a link from VCCSLinc to the NetLibrary site. Clicking on the link will take you directly to NetLibrary.
- You may search for a book exclusively in NetLibrary by going directly to the NetLibrary site from the Books page of the library website or by clicking here.
You must set up an account for yourself to use NetLibrary. Your MyGCC user ID and password are not automatically valid for NetLibrary. You can set up an account in NetLibrary from any computer in any of the three libraries by:
- Choosing NetLibrary from the Books page of the library website.
- Clicking on "Create a Free Account" at the top right of the main NetLibrary page.
- Completing the registration form.
- Once you have completed the registration process you will be able to use NetLibrary from any computer on- or off-campus.
- NOTE: You must set up your NetLibrary account from a GCC library computer.
NetLibrary books will not download to your computer.
