Enrolling in a Class
The personal portfolio allows you to manage your personal settings in the GCCOnline system. You will be able to update your contact information, view demographic information, and set personal security settings, view holds and To Do items, credentials and participation information.
- Navigate to the Learner Services page (see Learner Services )
- Click Academics
- Click Enroll in a Class
- Click appropriate Term (If you do not see the desired term for the Institution in which you wish to attend, please contact the Admissions and Records office for more information)
- Click Add Classes
- If you have the 5-digit class number
- Click in Class Nbr field
- Enter the desired Class Nbr in the field (to add more than one class, continue entering the Class Nbr in the Class Nbr fields that follow)
- Press TAB (Make sure the fields Class Nbr, Subject/Catalog #, and Section fields fill-in correctly with the class you wish to enroll)
- If you DO NOT have your 5-digit class number
- Click the Magnifying Glass
- Enter the Subject (ie ENG)
- Optional: Enter the Catalog Number (111)
- Select Credit from the Course Career drop-down menu
- Click Search
- A list of available classes will follow - click the CHECKBOX next to the Class Nbr you wish to enroll in
- (Make sure the fields Class Nbr, Subject/Catalog #, and Section fields fill-in correctly with the class you wish to enroll)
- Click Submit
- Make sure that you received a "Success" status
- Click View My Schedule (Your class should appear in your schedule)
