How do I know if a class is online, hybrid, or interactive video?
An I in the section number denotes an online course. (ACC 121-I1)
A H in the section number denotes a hybrid course. A hybrid course is part meeting in the class room and part online. (ACC 122-H81)
A V in the section number denotes an interactive video course where two campuses are connected through video. (ACC 200-V01

The current term is not available for me to select when I try to register.
Most likely you are not term activated. To have this fixed please send an e-mail to ALL@gcc.vccs.edu with your name and emplid and which term you need to be term activated for. You can also call 540-891-3077 and give the same information or contact Admissions and Records at 540-891-3020.

When I try to register it shows a college other than Germanna.
You will need to change your User Preferences.
Login to My GCC at gcc.my.vccs.edu using your Username and Password (if you don't know your Username and/or Password there are links on the same page to look up your Username and Reset your Password).
Once you are logged in to My GCC, Click on the second link under My Tools that says VCCS SIS8: Student Information System
A blank screen should display with blue text on the left that says SA Self Service
Click SA Self Service, click Learner Services, click Home, click Learner Services, click Academics, click Change User Preferences
Under the Institution drop down menu select Germanna Community College
Click Save

After I register, how soon will my class show up in Blackboard?
You may not be able to see your class in Blackboard until the first day of classes. If classes have started please allow at least 24 hours before your class will be available to you in Blackboard.
Note: Only online courses are guaranteed to have a Blackboard component, face to face classes may or may not have a Blackboard component at the discretion of the instructor.

Where can I view the class schedule online?
Click this link Class Schedule
Under the Credit Class Schedules drop down menu select the semester
Under the Credit Locations drop down menu select the correct location or all locations
You will be automatically taken to a new screen
Under the Credit Courses drop down menu select the desired discipline or all disciplines

How do I pay for my class once I have registered?

What is the term code?
The term code is used by PeopleSoft to identify a specific term for a calendar year. (i.e. Summer 2005's term code would be 2053)
