GCC to begin Middle College Program at LGC

Locust Grove , VA — Through a competitive process, GCC has been selected to conduct a Middle College program at the Locust Grove Campus. A grant proposal secured funds to start the new program, which is designed for participants between the ages of 18 and 24 who do not have a high school diploma or GED. Program participants will move through a GED certificate program to flow directly into community college certificate or associate degree programs. The focus of the Middle College program will be GED preparation, job readiness certification, and development of job skills.
