| Building a High Fidelity Simulation Lab - Resources |
| Building a high fidelity simulation lab requires management support, funding, and finding the necessary resources. Managing the process requires careful planning which involves assessing curriculum integration from a review of the literature and a review of schools of nursing which have integrated high fidelity simulation. Based on the experiences of other programs, interested nursing programs must institute a plan for the integration of high fidelity simulation beginning with finding the neccessry funding to integration of high fidelity simulation throughout the nursing curriculum. One obstacle faced by many nursing schools is the inability of the nursing faculty to develop the necessary skills for simulation scenario teaching. Providing role models or locating support networks that understand and promote high fidelity simulation will serve as an impetus for simulation adoption. Below is a list of high fidelity product websites, faculty contacts at Germanna Community College, and High Fideility Simulation Support Groups in the Virginia area.

| Northern Virginia Consortium for Clinical Simulation (NVCCS) |
| The Northern Virginia Consortium for Clinical Simulation is a local group of nurse educators in the Northern Virginia area who participate in the use of high fidelity simulation in nursing education. The primary purpose of the group is to provide support through networking for nurse educators who are currently implementing high fidelity scenarios in nursing curriculum and nurse educators who are seeking to integrate high fidelity simulation. This regional group seeks to meet biannually and provide the various members necessary updates, uses, and resources for the implementation of high fidelity simulation.
