The emphasis of the Career Study Certificate is centered on web page design, development and implementation of Internet based web sites for commercial and small business use.
Course work centers on employment options in electronic marketing and sales, electronic commerce site design and implementation, and commercial web site creation and maintenance. Jobs descriptions would include areas in Web site management, Web master, and Web site support.
In addition to the admission requirements for the college, all students will be required to take placement tests in math, writing, and reading to aid in placing students in the appropriate courses. Students who do not meet required placement levels must enroll in developmental studies courses. Students are urged to consult with counselors or faculty advisors in planning their programs.
