Cumulative GPA Required
- Minimum of 2.5. If a course is repeated, only the highest grade earned will be used to calculate the GPA.
Acceptance Status
- Associate of Arts & Sciences (AA&S) or Associate of Science (AS)
- Any number of credits may transfer. However, at least half of the coursework required for the major and the equivalent of 17 full courses must be completed at Roanoke College.
- A full one-unit course at Roanoke College is equivalent to four credits.
- Students who complete Associate degree concurrent with high school may use this GAA.
- Credit for AP/IB/CLEP will be reevaluated by Roanoke to determine each score for transfer credit.
- Satisfies all lower division general education requirements except for two courses that must be taken at Roanoke College: an Intensive Learning course and the general education capstone requirement.
