In order to be eligible for summer financial aid, you will need to complete the
Summer Financial Aid Application and return it before the dates listed on the application.
Since the summer semester is the final term of the financial aid year, you must have a FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office in order to be eligible for summer financial aid. Check your personal records or contact the Financial Aid Office to make sure you have the correct FAFSA application on file.
If you are not meeting satisfactory academic progress (SAP) standards after Spring grades are posted, your financial aid awards will be canceled for the Summer term. You would then be notified of the need to pay the balance due on your student account to ensure that your course(s) would not be dropped.
Summer financial aid is usually limited to remaining Pell Grant only. All State and local funds are awarded on the basis eligibility and of date of application and are available until funds have been exhausted.
