Dr. Gayle Wolfe


Personal Information

Dr. Gayle Wolfe is licensed by Virginia as a Professional Counselor. She holds a BA and MA from Ohio State University in Psychology and a Ph.D. from Florida State in Higher Education. She has taught at the college level since 1976 and has worked as a counselor either full or part-time since 1971. She has taught psychology full time at Germanna Community College since 1985. Dr. Wolfe has lived in Fredericksburg since 1985. She grew up in Columbus Ohio and moved to Florida in 1976. From 1982 to 1985 she lived and taught college in Beirut Lebanon. She met her husband in 1993. They were married in 1996 and enjoy spending time dancing and traveling. They are also the proud "parents" of three birds, five cats and a three-legged dog.

Dr. Wolfe organizes the monthly meetings of Windows of the World. Windows of the World(WOW) is a group of Americans and individuals from other countries who enjoy learning about other cultures and discussing global issues.
