EXPERIENCED RIDER COURSE (ERC) - FAQ's

What is ERC?
The Experienced Rider Course (ERC) is for riders with approximately 4,000 miles of riding experience who wish to review and practice in a safe, controlled environment.
Who should take the ERC?
You should have at least 4,000 miles of riding experience before attempting to take the ERC. If you have never taken a training class, you may find the novice class more helpful.
When are ERC classes offered?
2009 ERC classes are offered from 7:00am to 12:00pm at the Locust Grove Campus on:
  • March 15
  • March 29
  • April 5
  • April 11
**Note: Lunch and break times are included. Class tuition of $75 is due at registration.**
What should I bring to an ERC class?
In addition to the clothing and supplies required for the BRC, you must bring the following items:
  • A street legal motorcycle that will pass a Motorcycle Safety Foundation T-CLOCK Safety Inspection
  • Proof of registration for the motorcycle you are riding to the class
  • Proof of insurance for the motorcycle you are riding to class
  • Proof of a motorcycle endorsement on a current valid driver's license
