Germanna Community College will be closed on Monday July 3, and Tuesday July 4 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.
Some student services will be closed on Saturday, July 1 as well.

Nominations may come from the faculty member, their dean/supervisor, or other employees of the college or the VCCS.

Details

The Institutional Responsibility Award of $1,000 is awarded annually to a member of the full-time teaching faculty who demonstrates:

  • providing leadership for a major strategic initiative
  • chairing a committee or task force that leads to a significant improvement in student success, business processes, or instructional quality
  • singly or jointly achieving a major accomplishment of significant or world-class quality that supports the college’s strategic Program or the VCCS Achieve 2015 goals
