Career and Transfer Services are available to students interested in obtaining career information for transfer options. We provide information, tools, and resources that students need to make informed decisions about their educational and career goals now and in the future. Career and Transfer is located on the Fredericksburg Campus in the V. Earl Dickinson building on the second floor.
Career Services provide students, alumni, and employers the resources needed for a successful transition to the workplace through assistance with advising, career exploration, career assessment, job preparation, and employment opportunities. Transfer Services provides interaction with four-year institutions for those students who wish to continue their education. College representatives visit on a regular basis and workshops are offered to help students stay on track to transfer. An annual College Fair is held in the Fall. In addition, the Transfer webpage provides many resources to assist students including transfer guides, GAAs and transfer timelines.Transfer Services
Experiential learning is a process involving student learning through active participation in the workplace and/or community.
