Sign into myGCC. Click on the ‘View my Information’ tab at the top of the screen and your Student ID Number will be displayed as your EmplID.

Go to the sign-in page for myGCC and click on the link, “Forgot Username”. Fill in the requested information on each to find your username and request a password to be emailed or texted to you. If you are unable to change their password online please contact the Student Technical Help Desk.

If the class in Canvas is not accessible after your class has begun, please contact the instructor. Use the faculty and staff directory to search for your instructor’s contact information.

To hide a Canvas course, first log into Canvas. Click the ‘Courses’ button on the bar on the left and then choose ‘All Courses.’ Here you will see a list of all courses you are enrolled in. Click on the star icon beside each course that you would like to continue to see on Dashboard, any courses without the star turned on will be hidden.
