New Nursing Requirements

Starting on March 16, 2024

  • The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam will replace the Health Education Systems, Inc. Admission Assessment (HESI A2) and factor into the ranking process.
  • Students who have taken the HESI A2 will be considered for three years. Higher scores are more competitive.
  • Practical Nursing (PN) applicants will also be required to take the TEAS exam.
  • Service area will no longer factor into the ranking process.
