Requirements for Submitting A Nursing Application
The following steps are necessary for applying to GCC’s Nursing Programs:
A. Castlebranch Background check must be completed when submitting a nursing application. Not pending but complete and less than 6 months old.
B. KAPLAN Test results must be on file with the College. All categories must be 45% or greater. Test must be no older than 3 years.
C. Pre-Advising Nursing Checklist Signed by a Nursing Advisor on file in the Nursing Office.
D. Other college transcripts (already evaluated) and on file with Germanna and High School Transcript/GED/Home Equivalency on file with Germanna.
E. GPA of 2.5 or greater
You must be able to check each box on the nursing application in order to submit your application.
If you are not able to check each box your nursing application will be denied.
Attention Nursing Applicants
A criminal history record through Castlebranch must be completed prior to the submission of your nursing program application. Admission to the program will be contingent upon the results of the background check. Please see the information below for acquiring a background check.
Misrepresentation on the application will result in dismissal from the Nursing Program.
