Guidelines for posting notices

1. Purpose

Bulletin boards are provided at the Locust Grove Campus, the Fredericksburg Area Campus, and the Daniel Technology Center for the express use of designated organizations about upcoming activities and events.

2. Policy

The Locust Grove Campus, the Fredericksburg Area Campus, and the Daniel Technology Center for the express use of designated organizations about upcoming activities and events. Locations for general notices are located in the student lounge area at both campuses.

3. Procedures

3.1   Please visit the Welcome Center at any of the above mentioned locations for the designation of bulletin boards for specific uses.

3.2   All notices, posters, and other promotional material must be date stamped and approved by the Welcome Center, and when applicable, the Student Activities Office, before it can be posted.

3.3   The date stamp indicates review of the notice and does not indicate an endorsement of the content.

3.4   Anything not stamped will be removed.

3.5   Any flyer, notice or poster hanging in a non-designated area will be removed

3.6   Distribution or placement of commercial advertising is prohibited in the following areas: administrative offices, instruction facilities and libraries.

3.7   Guidelines for posting notices are available in the Welcome Center and Student Activities Office at the Fredericksburg Area Campus or the Locust Grove Area Campus.

3.8   Organizations seeking designated bulletin boards must seek approval from the Welcome Center.
