For Bailey George, Germanna a place to find the right path--affordably
She transferred to James Madison University, following a GCC to JMU path blazed by two siblings. Her mother, Stephanie George, says it’s been an affordable way of figuring things out before incurring the much greater expense of going to a university. She says all three of her children followed that path so they could prove themselves to be serious students before transferring. She says community colleges are a great way for middle class families to start their children’s college education, saying tens of thousands of dollars before transferring to a university.
